This year has been off to a roaring start for the Careers by Design team (thus my lack of blogging). For us it feels like a more positive economy, and we are seeing some more movement out there in the employment market.

I love the recent artilce in the New Zealand Herald by Danielle Wright: namely because she is writing about a topic that we try and convey to all of our clients: networking in New Zealand is a must. I would take it a step further - not only is networking important for job seekers, but it is important for anyone wanting to ensure that they can maximise their personal and professional brand in New Zealand, create a customer base, build a business, open themselves up for opportunities...really the list goes on and on.
